Showing off our Christmas outfits

It took awhile to get them to stay still long enough for pictures but, they did it!

Always the ham!

Sorry, our camera cord went missing...

Abigail and Eric walking in the Millington Christmas Parade for her Girl Scout troop.
Some of the Patches Abigail has earned.

More patches.

Alex watching the parade. It was just a little sunny!

The kids at the zoo watching the elephants. Gram came to visit and brought a camera for Abigail. She actually took some pretty good photos.

This is a 24 piece floor puzzle that Alex put together one night before bed. He was so proud of himself!

Some little "turkeys" the kids made with Gram.

The pictures came up out of order but, here we are at the zoo.

Riding the train at the zoo.

Abigail woke up early one morning and wanted to play outside. None of her friends were out yet. She came inside asking if we had a rake so that she could rake the yard while she waited for her friends to get up. This lasted all of 5 minutes.

Nina and Dane Come to Visit

Unfortunately, not a lot of pictures were take during their visit. It was only 2 full days. But, the kids were worn out at the end of those days.

Here's Alex with his red fireman boots. Thanks, Nina! They are big on him and for whatever reason he refuses to wear socks with them!

Disney Character Breakfast

On a recent Saturday, the base hosted a Disney Character breakfast. We didn't tell the kids beforehand where or what we were doing. Of course, we got a lot of questions from Abigail because we let her wear her Halloween costume to the breakfast. I just told her that this was a pretend playing breakfast. I know that doesn't make much sense but, it kept her quiet. The breakfast wasn't very good, but, it could be because I'm not a fan of burnt french toast sticks. But, the kids loved breakfast and said it was better than IHOP. The characters came out right after we got done eating. Of course, the kids were shocked and surprised. A great time was had by all. Now, Abigail keeps asking to have her birthday party at Disney World. So, if any of the grandparents would like to contribute to the Disney fund...;)

This was taken before the "Character Parade" and they were getting restless.

Abigail with Prince Charming and Cinderella.

The kids with Mickey Mouse. I have to say I did not realize Alex was such a huge fan of Mickey until this day. He was practically stalking the mouse. He kept following him around to the other tables and hugging him.

Mrs. Incredible. Okay, Alex has neither seen nor heard of this movie so, that is why he is looking at her like that!

Snow White. You can't see it but, her other arm had tatoos going up it.

This is Capt Hook. I'm not exactly sure what he is doing or why he won't look at the camera. We have several pictures of him and he won't look at the camera in any of them. I need to start watching America's Most Wanted again...

Welcome!

I promise, he's a good Spiderman and he won't hurt you! Welcome friends and family. We wanted to create a place where we can put up pictures and information on some of the many exciting, and sometimes mundane things we do here in Millington. Please check back often for new things. I will try to post 2-3 times a week.
